Description
The Causey – this is a small river heading into Bannow Bay close to where I live. I am told that people used to cross it on stones at low tide to get to the opposite headland. It intrigues me as I drive past it. It’s very shallow but I was lucky enough to get to row up to here one evening with my local coastal rowing club. It was a real adventure as we kept going aground in the shallow mud banks! SOLD
