Description
This painting is full of texture and mark making which is not possible to see or feel from a photograph. One person described how she could almost feel the rough barnacles as if she were trying to climb back up on the rocks from the sea. I really liked that she got that sense of place from my painting.
The Pollock Rock is near Slade on the Eastern side of the Hook Peninsula. It is a well used rock for rod fishing.
