Description
Clashganny – Clashganny is a small village on the river Barrow in Co Carlow. I have kayaked here a number of times. It is a very surreal landscape for me, coming from the ‘wild seas’ of the Hook Peninsula. This painting has an almost magical or dreamlike quality, which is exactly how I felt the first time I went there. I couldn’t wait to get around the next corner in my eagerness to explore!
